【"Zuu" is the zoo as you all know, but we create things with animals and nature as motifs, with the meaning of the "zu" in the design included.

We want to cherish a texture that is neither too realistic nor too simple, but is easy on the eye.I have loved animals since I was a child, and I often watched programs like Wild Kingdom on TV. In these days of environmental destruction and the extinction of many creatures, I often wonder what I can do.

However, since I was born and raised in modern society, it is impossible to eliminate all the power of civilization, so I would like to start by looking for something close to me, something small that is environmentally friendly. If you know that there are many different kinds of life, you will naturally become kinder to the environment.
I hope that you can feel the workings of life even a little through my works.】

♥ 工房ずー／こーぼーずー

【”ずー”は皆様ご存知動物園のzooですが、図案の”ず”デザインすることをも含めた意味のもとに動物をはじめ自然をモチーフにもの作りを展開しています。
リアルすぎずシンプルすぎず見る目に優しい風合いを大切にしていきたいと考えています。

幼少の頃より動物が大好きで、テレビでももっぱら野生の王国なんぞをよく見ておりました。環境破壊と多くの生き物が絶滅に瀕している今日ですが自分は何をすればいいだろうかと考えてみたりもします。
とはいえ現代社会に生まれ育った訳で文明の力をすべて排除することは不可能な訳で、まずは身近な何か、ほんのささいなことで環境に優しいことを探していこうと思っています。いろいろな命があることを知れば自然と環境に優しくなれるのではないでしょうか。
作品を通して少しでも命の営みを感じていただければ・・・と考えております。】
